Supervisor with an Entrepreneurial Spirit – Social Enterprise
Our Mission
We are a social enterprise that has grown out of a project initiated by Bureå Parish. We believe in people's ability to grow, develop, and contribute – regardless of background. In our operations, which include a café, cleaning services, catering, memorial services, and other requested assignments, we create meaningful jobs and strengthen individuals' self-esteem through work, community, and learning. We work closely with people who are far from the labor market, creating conditions together, finding tools and opportunities to find the way forward.
The Difference You Make
As a supervisor with us, you become a key person in creating a safe and inspiring environment where participants have the opportunity to develop both professional skills and self-confidence. You will be the link between the individual's needs and the organization's goals. We are looking for a person who brings good ideas, a desire to find solutions, and a willingness to make a difference.
Your Responsibilities
- Work operationally and guide participants in their daily tasks within the organization.
- Work together as a team to develop the company.
- Plan and lead work moments that develop both practical skills and work-life competence.
- Create individual development plans using the MARY method together with participants and follow up on their progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues, authorities, and other actors to provide participants with the best possible support.
- Contribute to an inclusive and positive work environment where everyone feels seen and valued.
Your Profile
- A valid B-driver's license is required.
- Flexibility and the ability to see the big picture in a growing company.
- Motivation and an entrepreneurial spirit to contribute to continued development.
- Experience working with people in need of support, preferably within labor market initiatives, social work, or education.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and build trusting relationships.
- Good organizational skills and confidence in leading groups.
- Receptiveness and patience – you see the individual's strengths and potential.
- Merits include knowledge of workplace safety, coaching, or supervisor training.
Why You Will Thrive Here
- A job where you see the results of your efforts in people's development every day.
- Opportunity to influence and shape the operations together with an engaged team.
- Further education and supervision for your own professional development.
- Flexible working hours and a workplace that values balance between work and private life.
- A warm and inclusive culture where we celebrate successes – big and small.
We are an employer who values diversity and welcomes applicants with different backgrounds and experiences.
