ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for 5-6 residential instructors for the municipality's group homes within the individual and family care services.

As a residential instructor, you assist persons living in group homes according to the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). You are offered an exciting and developing job where you get to use and develop your competence as a residential instructor. Good treatment, good communication, coordination, documentation, structure, and care are important keywords in a residential instructor's daily work. The work is scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends.

Within the individual and family care services, we work to make full-time work the norm. When more people work full-time, better conditions are created for continuity, quality, and equality – both in operations and private life. To enable full-time work, flexibility in the organization is required. This means that as an employee with us, you may be required to work at different units within our area of operation as needed.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for you who are educated as a support pedagogue, assistant nurse, childminder, or have other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. Meritorious is knowledge about disabilities and low-affective handling. You should have a confirming approach to work and be able to use alternative communication methods such as picture support and social stories.

We are looking for you who want to contribute to giving other people meaningful lives and supporting them in their daily lives. You have the ability to adapt in work and prioritize according to existing conditions and see opportunities instead of obstacles. As a person, you are engaged, calm, secure, responsible, and have a genuine interest in the target group you are to work with. You have good problem-solving skills and a positive view of people. For us, it is important that you have good cooperation skills and enjoy working in a team. You can express yourself well in speech and writing in the Swedish language.
