About the role
We are currently assisting an established property company in recruiting a Sustainability Project Manager for a fixed-term parental leave cover of approximately 8 months. The company owns, manages, and develops a large property portfolio with a focus on commercial properties such as offices, logistics, warehouses, retail, civic buildings, and residential properties. It is a company with an entrepreneurial spirit characterized by short decision-making paths, strong team spirit, and a clear focus on long-term development and sustainability.
Your future responsibilities
As a Sustainability Project Manager, you will play a central role in the company's ongoing sustainability work. You will actively drive initiatives and projects related to the environment, energy, and climate, while contributing to the development of processes, routines, and new ways of working. You will function as an internal support function for several regions and collaborate closely with management, technical property managers, and other key personnel within the organization. Examples of tasks include:
- Monitoring and analysis of energy, water, heating, and cooling consumption
- Collection and quality assurance of sustainability data
- Implementation and development of monitoring systems
- Work with sustainability, environmental, and energy management systems
- Support in internal and external sustainability communication
- Project management of initiatives such as solar cell installations and environmental certifications
- Development of action plans to achieve set goals
- Development of methods to reduce climate impact
- Contact with contractors, suppliers, and participation in procurement processes
We are looking for someone with
- A university degree in sustainability, energy, environment, or a similar field
- Experience in sustainability work, which can be from professional life or relevant projects during studies
- Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good teamwork skills and strong communication abilities
- A structured and solution-oriented approach to work
The following is considered meritorious
- Experience from the property, construction, or civil engineering industry
- Previous experience in project management
- Knowledge in energy monitoring or environmental management systems
