Subject
Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)
Job Description
The position is research-driven and exploratory, where the design and development of digital solutions form a central part of the research process. The postdoc will contribute to translating research ideas and needs from healthcare and working life contexts into functioning digital systems, prototypes, and interventions.
The duties include, among other things:
- Design and development of digital interventions, prototypes, and research systems
- Development of mobile applications, web applications, or other interactive systems
- Development of tools for data collection, analysis, and visualization related to interventions
- Integration of user needs, user context, clinical perspectives, and research questions into the design process
- Planning and conducting user studies and evaluations of developed solutions
The postdoc will work closely with researchers from several disciplines, including human-computer interaction, information systems, medicine, psychology, sociology, and public health, as well as in collaboration with external actors within healthcare and other relevant operations. The role therefore requires the ability to work interdisciplinarily and to develop technical solutions in dialogue with non-technical stakeholders.
As a postdoc, you are also expected to contribute to an active and stimulating research environment, participate in seminars and joint activities, and assist in the preparation of external research grants. The position offers good opportunities to further develop your own research profile within HCI and digital health.
