The Education Department is responsible for preschool, compulsory school, special needs compulsory school, upper secondary school, and special needs upper secondary school. Responsibilities also include student health services, mother-tongue instruction, school transport, and school meals. We strive to create an inspiring learning environment for approximately 10,000 children and students. We have a strong vision of building knowledge and creating dreams.

The Workplace

The Principal's Area of Trelleborg Urban Center consists of Liljeskolan F-9, Granlunda, and Solrosens Preschool. The area is led by a principal together with four deputy principals and an administrative manager. Liljeskolan is an F-9 school with a lower secondary section of approximately 500 students. We are creating tools for future competencies. IT is increasingly becoming a pedagogical learning tool, and we are investing in raising the competence of our educators in line with future demands and opportunities. We have a well-functioning operation. You will be welcomed by a cheerful team with broad competence and strong cohesion. We help each other when needed and are always close to laughter. We offer you a good work environment with stimulating tasks, professional development, and compensation for fitness activities. We have specialized staff who handle investigations regarding bullying and absenteeism. We dedicate specific time each week for school development in subject groups. The school is centrally located with good commuting opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher, you will teach our students in music and potentially another subject for grades 7–9. Together with your colleagues in the work team, you will create a good learning environment for each student. You will work as part of a team based on the clarified responsibility mandate expressed in the Swedish curriculum for compulsory school. This means that together with the principal and other colleagues, you will lead and develop daily school life to increase goal achievement. Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in music. It is meritorious if you also have qualifications in another subject for grades 7–9. We would appreciate it if you have experience working with young people. You are passionate about your teaching role and bring good ideas on how we can develop teaching, engage with current research, and are ready to drive this forward together with your team!

You are proactive, open to change, good at bringing people along, and inspire innovative thinking. As a person, you are development-oriented, have good communication skills, and the ability to see the big picture. You thrive in an environment that places high demands on responsibility, flexibility, proactiveness, and social competence. You are a creative employee who can offer students good learning environments, build good relationships, and treat others with respect.
