Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are currently looking for an engaged QC Immunologist for a consultancy assignment at AstraZeneca at their Sweden Biomanufacturing Center (SBC) in Södertälje.

As a consultant on-site at AstraZeneca, you will become a key person in the QC Bioassay & Sample Management group. Within the quality organization, we work to protect both products, manufacturing licenses, and, most importantly, the patient.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lab work focused on cell-based potency assays.
• Work with cell culture, ELISA, and the transfer of new techniques.
• Analytical quality assurance in accordance with current cGXP regulations.
• Participation in LEAN work to continuously improve and streamline operations.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Biomedicine, or similar). Alternatively, you have extensive professional experience in biochemical analyses and cell culture.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in both Swedish and English.

Advantageous:

• Experience with Bioassays and cell culture within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or GLP (Good Laboratory Practice).

• Location: Gärtuna, Södertälje (SBC). The role is lab-based and requires physical presence on-site.
• Scope: 100%
• Period: June 1 – December 31.
