About the position

We at Humana are now looking for you who want to work on a summer temporary position with our client, a person in their 50s living in Djäkneböle, just outside Umeå!

Personal assistance is a support measure under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for you who are sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client.

Requirements for the position:

  • Since the client lives just outside Umeå and public transport is limited, you must have a driver's license and access to a car to commute to and from work.

  • Good knowledge of Swedish

  • Tolerance for pets (there is a cat in the home)

  • Non-smoker (during working hours)

  • Good physical condition and ability to perform heavy lifting and transfers

Meritorious qualifications for the position:

  • Experience in similar work

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

We are looking for a personal assistant who can work on a summer temporary position during weeks 27–33. The summer temporary position covers the period 29/6–16/8. The current form of employment for the temporary position is 'for as long as the assistance assignment lasts'. Before the temporary position starts, you will undergo a paid introduction/onboarding. During the onboarding period, you will receive an agreement for a fixed-term hourly employment with a specified end date.

The degree of employment is approx. 83%, with an average of 33 hours per week during these weeks.

Working hours are scheduled during the day and evenings, both on weekdays and weekends. The working hours are as follows: 08.00–20.10 or 08.00–18.00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits occur according to the collective agreement.

The temporary position starts 2026-06-29, but we would like you to be able to start your onboarding as soon as possible.
