To our client in Stockholm, a prestigious asset manager, we are looking for you who want to work in securities administration.
Your responsibilities include, among other things, securities administration, reconciliation of securities holdings and bank accounts, as well as handling corporate actions. This is a broad role where you will have the opportunity to develop within the finance industry, as the company trades a wide range of instruments and securities.
Job Description
You will work on the company's back-office department together with a few colleagues. The role is administrative in nature, and you will gain extensive knowledge of how an asset management firm operates and the various processes involved.
Examples of daily tasks include:
- Control and registration of price and instrument data
- Account reconciliation
- Valuation and pricing of portfolios
- Share administration
Competency Requirements & Experience
We are looking for you with a relevant degree from a university or college, preferably with a focus on finance or accounting. To succeed in the role, you should have an interest in finance and be meticulous and analytical. You have prior experience from banking, asset management, or fund companies with assignments within back-office. You pick up new systems easily and work comfortably in Excel. Experience with SimCorp Dimension is highly meritorious.
You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.
Duration of Assignment
The assignment starts in August and initially extends for nine months. For the right person, there are good opportunities for direct employment with the client.
