Do you want to work in a broad and responsible accounting role close to the business – in a company undergoing change and development? Veho Group is now looking for two accountants with company responsibility, for Veho Bil AB and Veho Import AB respectively, for you who want to take great personal responsibility and be part of a team that builds long-term stability.

About the role

You will be part of Veho Group's Shared Service Center (SSC), which is responsible for the accounting of the group's Swedish companies. Currently, the SSC handles the ongoing accounting for Veho Bil Sverige AB, Veho Import, and Veho Truck Retail.

The team currently consists of three accountants with company responsibility and four economic assistants who work closely together in their daily tasks. All report to the Accounting Manager within Shared Services. Two of the accountant roles are currently covered by consultants, and these are the two roles that are now being recruited for permanently.

As an accountant with us, you are responsible for the entire accounting in your company, from ongoing bookkeeping to year-end closing, reporting, and follow-up. The role is both independent and collaborative, where you work closely with others in the accounting team, Business Control, and other parts of the organization. Together, you contribute to ensuring quality, structure, and well-functioning working methods in the finance function.

Veho is in the middle of a digitalization and change journey and currently works in several financial systems, including SAP, Kobra, Palette, and Basware, with a planned transition to Oracle NetSuite in parts of the business.

Your responsibilities

The responsibilities are largely common for both roles and include, among other things:

• Ongoing accounting
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
• Accruals and provisions
• Balance reconciliations and follow-up
• VAT and tax declarations
• Preparation of annual reports
• Analysis work related to closing and balance sheet items
• Drive quality, internal control, and regulatory compliance, as well as take active ownership in improvement and development work within accounting

Differences between the roles

Veho Import AB In the role towards Veho Import, you work in an environment with international interfaces and a focus on qualified accounting. The work includes, among other things, process improvements related to invoicing and customer flows, currency exposure (SEK/EUR), and close dialogue with the controlling function and external parties. Experience with SAP, Intrastat, and international accounting is advantageous.

Veho Bil AB In the role towards Veho Bil, the focus is on a more transaction-intensive business with a heavy balance sheet, extensive VAT reporting, and several different revenue streams, such as new cars, service, workshop, and spare parts. Experience with Kobra is highly advantageous.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who have several years of experience as an accountant and are confident in working independently with company responsibility, closing, balance sheet, VAT, and taxes.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and responsible, have good analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach to work, and thrive with collaboration and communication.

You are comfortable in an environment where change is a natural part of everyday life and see the value in building clear working methods and long-term stability.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Practical information

• Location: Segeltorp (Smista), Stockholm. The team currently works mainly on-site. Hybrid work can be discussed over time.
• For the role towards Veho Import, there is an opportunity to also work from the office in Sickla one day a week over time.
• Employment type: Permanent, full-time with an initial probationary period.
