To our client, a well-known fund company in Stockholm, we are looking for a specialist for the Middle Office. This is a consultancy assignment starting after the summer, lasting for six months.

Job Description

The Middle Office team consists of experienced employees with broad competence, where each employee takes significant responsibility within a wide segment of tasks. Together, the team forms the hub of the operations with many contact points, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the development of NAV, corporate actions, risk, and valuation.
• Follow up on reporting data.
• Check and analyze market data.
• Internal reporting to fund managers and management.
• External reporting, for example to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen).
• Account reconciliations.
• Handling of business flows.
• KYC/customer due diligence checks.
• Cash management.

Competencies & Experience

We are looking for a person with good experience in operations within a fund business. We expect you to have a relevant degree from a university or college and a strong interest in working with financial instruments. You must have excellent Excel skills and be fluent in both Swedish and English. It is an advantage if you have experience with various portfolio systems and are familiar with using Bloomberg.
