We are currently looking for an Accountant for a parental leave cover position with one of our clients. In this role, you will work operationally within the Accounts Payable (AP) process, responsible for delivering high quality according to set goals and key performance indicators. You will also actively contribute to developing and streamlining working methods and processes.

You are expected to have a good understanding of financial flows and be able to work both in detail in daily tasks and with a holistic perspective on the process. Together with the team, you ensure that the work maintains high quality, is delivered on time, and follows internal guidelines and current regulations.

Job Responsibilities

The main focus is on the supplier invoice process, but the role may also include other parts of accounting, such as:

• Manage the entire AP flow: registration, coding, review, reminders, and collections
• Ongoing work within transaction accounting
• Contribute to developing, documenting, and improving routines, controls, and processes
• Record daily payments received
• Work with Accounts Receivable and account reconciliations

Areas of Responsibility within Accounting

• Continuous bookkeeping
• Accounts Payable: invoice management, payments, reminders, and supplier contacts
• Accounts Receivable: invoicing, payments, and follow-up on customer receivables
• VAT and employer tax declarations
• Reporting to authorities
• Reconciliations and closing work
• Continuous improvement work on processes and systems

Work Environment

The team works at a high pace with clear structure and close collaboration. The focus is on constantly developing working methods through digitalization and automation.

Systems

• Rillion (workflow for supplier invoices)
• Workday (general ledger)

Requirements

• Accounts Payable experience
• Accounts Receivable experience
• Reporting to authorities
• Handling VAT and employer tax declarations
• Continuous bookkeeping
• Swedish – very good knowledge (expert level)
