We are now looking for a cheerful and creative preschool teacher who wants to become part of our preschool. This is a temporary position at 90–100% from August 3, 2026, until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment upon agreement.

Are you interested in working to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool for both children and staff? Then you might be the one we are looking for. Our work is based on a Christian value system, which, together with the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for preschool, forms the foundation of our pedagogy. We believe in playful, experience-based learning where imagination and play have a large space.

We are looking for you who have personal suitability and relevant qualifications for work in preschool, such as a preschool teacher degree or childcare education. You have good cooperation skills, a desire to contribute to development, and strive to create quality. You are a spreader of joy who is passionate about your work and easily builds good relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. As a preschool teacher, you work with teaching and are responsible for children's learning and development based on the curriculum. You are responsible for the pedagogical education and teaching conducted both indoors and outdoors.

The position primarily involves working with the younger children at the preschool.

The preschool team consists of the principal, preschool teachers, childcare workers, cleaners, and a cook. The food is prepared in our kitchen, where organic and locally sourced ingredients form the basis of a good and pedagogical meal. Free pedagogical meals and partially subsidized work clothes are included for the staff.

You are expected to be a member of the Church of Sweden and share its values.

Södra Vedbo Pastorate runs another preschool in Solberga, Nässjö Municipality. We work with an active personnel policy that gives you good opportunities for a good working environment.

We are a pastorate with seven parishes in Eksjö Municipality and a small part of Nässjö Municipality. In our parishes, there are twelve churches, three chapels, twelve cemeteries, and two preschools. We have approximately 12,300 church members and 80 employees.
