We are now looking for two support assistants at Nytida Djurgårdsgatan who can work between 77% and 95%.

Your role

As a support assistant, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

About Nytida Djurgårdsgatan

At Nytida Djurgårdsgatan, you are part of a group of approximately 7 employees with access to a group leader and a nurse. The unit serves adult women and men with mental disabilities. This can include phobias/depression, learning difficulties, mental disabilities, psychosocial problems, schizophrenia, or anxiety disorders.

Nytida Djurgårdsgatan's service housing is located in a multi-family house in the pleasant district of Majorna in Gothenburg. The housing is distributed over two floors: the first floor is an LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) residence with 7 apartments, and the second floor is a SoL (Social Services Act) residence with 8 apartments. Currently, we have sleeping on-call duty, day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend duties. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for our residents and offer care and security, as well as joyful and meaningful days. We are now looking for you who want to contribute your competence and experience to our team. A bus stop is located near the workplace.

Your experience and knowledge

You have at least a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. Experience working with the target group is an advantage. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.
