Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer, you will work on building, structuring, and further developing Ramudden Global's data platform. The focus is on architecture, domain structure, and practical implementation, from source systems to finished data products.

You are responsible for how data is organized from the local business unit level to group-wide consolidation. This involves making decisions on data modeling, managing shared and local business objects, and determining when other strategies are needed, such as operational solutions or master data management.

The work is clearly hands-on. You build and maintain data models, pipelines, and the semantic layer, working closely with the business to define data products and data contracts that stand the test of time. In many contexts, you are the technical voice setting the direction, explaining architectural choices, and contributing to the structured development of the platform.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Design and own the domain and data model structure from business unit to group level.
• Build and maintain the data platform hands-on (Snowflake, dbt, Python).
• Develop pipelines, integrations, and the semantic layer.
• Define data products and data contracts in collaboration with the business.
• Be the technical voice in the room – set standards, educate, and drive the platform's architecture forward.

Education, Experience, and Personal Attributes

• Experience building data platforms in Snowflake.
• Practical experience with dbt and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with integrations against various types of source systems.
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with data mesh or domain-oriented data architecture.
• Background from organizations with distributed operations across multiple countries or business units.
• Knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines and DevOps principles.
• Experience exposing data to consumer layers such as Power BI or Streamlit.
