Are you interested in working within healthcare and social care in Storfors Municipality? We are looking for individuals interested in working as hourly employees within functional support (LSS). We offer a varied job where you help people in their daily lives and leisure time.

The units we have within functional support are:

• LSS Housing
• LSS Leisure
• Personal Assistance
• Supported Living

Responsibilities

The role of personal assistant involves helping the individual with personal hygiene and household maintenance, including wood burning and lawn mowing where applicable.

The day is structured together with the individual, who is encouraged to become involved in their own life and leisure activities.

Tasks at some units also include delegated healthcare interventions from nurses.

As a supported living worker, you help the individual with structure in their own home.

Documentation is a requirement in the work and is done digitally.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have healthcare education or alternatively experience from care work or other experience that the employer considers meritorious.

You must be at least 18 years old and possess Swedish language skills sufficient to communicate with customers and colleagues, as well as document as required by the operations.

A Category B driver's license and access to a private car are meritorious for commuting to/from the workplace, which may be located in rural areas.

Basic computer skills are required.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. To fit the role, we see that you are social, empathetic, able to work independently and in a team. You should have the customer's needs at the center and maintain a professional attitude towards customers, relatives, and colleagues.

Other

The work is scheduled during days/evenings/nights, as well as weekend shifts.

Interviews and appointments for positions are conducted on a rolling basis.

Background Check

To work in user- and patient-oriented roles, you must provide a certificate of good conduct (police record) from the Swedish Police Authority. You must request the extract yourself from the National Police Board using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record Register" available in the form archive on the police website.
