About the role Wrknest is currently looking for an experienced Debt Collection Officer for a consultancy assignment with an established player in Stockholm. The assignment covers the summer period and involves supporting the business when permanent staff are on leave.

This role is suitable for someone who is confident in the different parts of the debt collection process and can quickly get up to speed with ongoing cases. You will work independently at a fast pace, where quality, legal understanding, and careful case handling are crucial. The assignment offers you the opportunity to work broadly within the debt collection field and contribute your experience in a business where professionalism and integrity are central.

Your future responsibilities In this role, you will work through the entire debt collection chain and be responsible for advancing cases in a legally secure and efficient manner.

The responsibilities include, among other things:

• Handling payment orders, enforcement, and bailiff measures.
• Registration and valuation of cases, including debt extracts and credit reports.
• Handling disputes and litigation.
• Professional handling of incoming and outgoing calls and emails related to debt collection.
• Establishing and following up on payment plans.
• Handling special cases such as estates, composition agreements, and prescription issues.
• Contact with authorities as well as handling official correspondence and requests for additional information.

We are looking for you who

Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of current experience in practical debt collection handling.
• Have very good knowledge of the Debt Collection Act and good debt collection practices.
• Have experience with the legal processes at the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden).
• Speak and write Swedish fluently.
