We are looking for a thoughtful and engaged personal assistant for a 19-year-old young man who loves activity and play. He lives with his parents in a villa in Jönköping and has limitations in his ability to speak, which requires your closeness and support. He has a great interest in swimming, taking buses and trains, jumping on a trampoline, watching motorsports on TV, and playing with his cars. Alongside these interests, it is important to be able to manage his severe epilepsy, as daily seizures occur. Therefore, your presence is crucial.

The position is a parental substitute role at 60%, with shifts during the day and evening, as well as weekends every other week.

Job Responsibilities: As a personal assistant, you will play a significant role in enabling a functional and high-quality daily life. Previous experience in similar work is an asset, but the most important aspect for us is that you have the right attitude and feel for the job. The tasks are varied and include, among others:

• Personal hygiene and care.

• Support with social activities and leisure interests.

• Help and support during meal situations.

• Accompanying to the swimming pool and other outings.

• Assisting with dressing and undressing.

• Assisting with exercise and physical activity.

• Helping with transfers and mobility.

• Has a driver's license (preferably for both manual and automatic).

• Is a good swimmer.

• Is in good physical shape and non-smoking.

• Is calm, resourceful, and stress-tolerant.

• Is tolerant of pets, as there is a cat in the home.

• Is proactive and can work independently.

• Speaks and writes fluent Swedish.

• 📅 Start Date: June 1, 2026.

• 📊 Employment Rate: 60% substitute role until August 31, with a good chance of extension/permanent shifts in the schedule.

• ⏳ Agreement: Initially, introductory shifts and an hourly contract are offered to ensure the collaboration works well before the substitute role is assigned. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.

• 🕒 Shifts: Day and evening shifts as well as weekends every other week.
