We are currently seeking holiday and hourly substitute staff for elderly care and care for persons with functional variations in Ljungby Municipality!

Care for Persons with Functional Variations
Within care for persons with functional variations, there are different types of activities: LSS housing/Psychiatric housing, personal assistance, daily activities, and short-term stays for youth/adults. Below, the different activities are described.
- LSS Housing/Psychiatric Housing: Housing for persons with various prerequisites and needs for support in daily life and at home. This may involve support with various activities, doctor's visits, and more.
- Personal Assistance: You work together with care recipients in their homes, and their needs determine your tasks. For example, you may support daily activities such as accompanying them to day activities, the cinema, the doctor, or other activities.
- Daily Activities: Employment, work training, and internship placements for persons with various support needs. As staff, you support and encourage a meaningful daily routine.
- Youth Short-Term/Leisure (for children under 18): You work with children and young people with various prerequisites and support needs. You may support daily activities, plan and accompany outings, craft, play, and provide care.
- Adult Short-Term: For persons over 18 years old requiring short-term stays, short-term supervision, or relief. Staffing is based on the users' needs.
Elderly Care
Elderly care includes home care and special housing.
- Home Care: You help care recipients in their homes to facilitate their daily living, often to make it possible for the individual to remain in their own home. Home care is available throughout the municipality.
- Special Housing: You help and support residents with things they cannot manage on their own, such as personal care and social activities. We have special housing facilities in Lidhult, Lagan, and Ljungby.

QUALIFICATIONS
We work with people who need various forms of support in their daily lives; our work makes a difference. The work involves various social interventions as well as physical nursing and delegated medication management. Daily use of various operational systems is included.
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in people, are responsible, and have good collaboration skills. It is important that you are flexible, secure, and keep the needs of our care recipients in focus. Experience in care is an asset but not a requirement. Education in care work or pedagogy is an asset. For most positions, you must be at least 18 years old.
For those turning 17: A limited number of positions are available within elderly care. As a 17-year-old employee, you will perform tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, walks, and dressing/undressing. You can also participate in nursing work together with a colleague. Working hours: 6-8 hour shifts, day and evening between 07:00-21:30. You always have access to mentors/colleagues.
It is a requirement that you are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and are accustomed to working with mobile phones and other digital platforms. We place great importance on personal suitability.
A B-driver's license is an asset. Within elderly care, you must be able to cycle as this is a mode of transport we use.

- Duration: 11 days - 3 months.
