About the role

Consultant Manager is a broad role where you get the opportunity to work with recruitment, leadership, and serve as a business-oriented HR partner to your clients.

"The best thing about my job is the combination of tasks and colleagues. I work closely with candidates, consultants, and clients every day. Being a career partner gives me inspiration and the opportunity to see consultants' development up close. I draw motivation and energy from my colleagues; the culture at Academic Work is, for me, largely about lifting each other up and celebrating each other's achievements!" This is how one of our Consultant Managers describes their role.

In the role of Consultant Manager, you will belong to a team working within the Technology business area. The team works with clients, consultants, and candidates within the technology industry, which includes everything from IT, electrical engineering, life sciences, automation, construction, or industry. Although much of the work is done independently, you are engaged together with the team in your common goals, results, and the continued development and growth of the business area.

Your manager and your development

Your team leader is Josefine Kühler, who works closely with you and has good insight into your daily work. We have a dedicated development program where, in your role as Consultant Manager, you have a clear annual development plan to enhance your skills and sharpen your competencies. Our training program is called Career Steps and is followed up continuously by your manager. You steer your own career paths with us, and we provide the conditions for it.

You have a strong belief in your own abilities, take great ownership of your results, and structure your work efficiently to always deliver with high quality. You are motivated by a fast pace and naturally build trusting relationships. As a person, you are unpretentious, welcome feedback, and step up as a natural leader when the situation demands it. Even under pressure, you remain calm and tackle challenges with a solution-oriented and positive attitude.

  • Work experience in service-related work and client contact.
  • Completed post-secondary education in human resources/HR, behavioral science, service management, or similar.

  • Experience with recruitment from the staffing industry.
  • Experience with recruiting profiles within IT or technology.
  • Experience with sales-oriented work.

Additional information

  • Start date: August/September.
  • Extent: Full-time, permanent with a 6-month probation period.
  • Salary: Monthly salary with a fixed part and a variable commission part with no cap.
  • Location: Östergatan 18, Malmö.

Our recruitment process

We apply continuous selection and will remove the ad once enough candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process. A CV is required when applying. We do not use cover letters as a selection method and therefore do not need them attached. We use tests from Alva Labs as part of the recruitment process to identify the most suitable candidates. The first step is a logical thinking test, which assesses your problem-solving skills, as well as a personality test that gives us insight into your traits. The tests support our ambition to find candidates with the highest potential and to promote equality, diversity, and fairness. If you proceed in the process, the next step is interviews and reference checks. Throughout all parts of the process, we base ourselves on a clearly defined job profile to ensure a structured and objective assessment.

We do not accept applications via email, but if you have specific questions regarding the position, they will be answered at [email protected] during office hours.
