SWARCO is now seeking a Financial Controller for a six-month consultancy assignment with immediate start. About the Position

This is a full-time consultancy assignment lasting 6 months, with an immediate start. You are expected to be available for work during the month of July as well. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant for SWARCO.

Responsibilities

In the role of Financial Controller, you will work with quality assurance, analysis, and follow-up. You have a clear focus on ensuring correct project accounting and contributing structure to profit and cost follow-up. The role involves close collaboration with both the accounting function and operations, where you support the closing process, perform reasonableness assessments, and work on improvements within processes and internal controls. During the summer, you will also cover parts of invoicing and supplier management.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Ensure correct handling of project accounting
• Compile results and analyze variances against budget, with a focus on costs
• Follow up and perform reasonableness assessments of balance sheet items
• Support the accounting function in monthly and year-end closing work
• Contribute to increased structure and clarity in reporting and follow-up
• Support budget and forecasting work, primarily related to the cost side
• Identify areas for improvement within processes and internal controls

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Post-secondary education in economics, preferably a Master of Science in Economics or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in qualified accounting or controller work
• Experience working in SAP and a good understanding of IFRS, where IFRS 15 is particularly advantageous
• Previous work in a project organization is an asset
• Good computer skills and a confident user of Excel and other tools in MS365
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English

You are analytical and quality-conscious, with the ability to combine business acumen with a structured and process-oriented working method. With your experience in finance, you can quickly become self-sufficient and maintain focus in a dynamic environment.
