PTS has the mandate to promote broadband expansion in all parts of the country, in line with the government's digitalization strategy. When managing the support, PTS shall work towards good accessibility to fast broadband throughout Sweden.

The Broadband Support Department is responsible for compiling the list of buildings eligible for support, conducting the call for applications and allocation of support, following up on the correct use of the support, and supervising that infrastructure expansion has taken place in accordance with the conditions. Here, you will collaborate with various professional categories, gain new perspectives, and face exciting challenges.

About the role

In this role, you will work with case handling within the department's areas of responsibility, which covers several different processes where the main responsibility for each process lies with different units. Tasks include handling applications and projects seeking support, handling recovery claims, and following up on projects that have been granted support.

An important part of the assignment is to prepare the basis for decisions on the allocation of support funds. You are also responsible for following up that approved projects are carried out in accordance with applicable conditions and decisions made. When projects deviate from the agreed plan or do not meet the support conditions, you handle the required investigations. Project audits may also occur as part of the role.

The role involves work with both breadth and responsibility and suits you if you enjoy case handling, careful assessments, and follow-up in an operation where legal security and quality are central. If you also have good system understanding and previous experience of working as a super user, it may also be relevant to join the management group for the organization's system support.

About you

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, unpretentious, and willing to contribute where needed to achieve common goals. You work in a structured and careful manner, follow processes, and meet deadlines, while being clear in your communication.

You are a stable person who keeps your cool even under high workload, makes smart priorities, and has a flexible approach to changes. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and thrive in a role where you tackle different types of case handling with a positive attitude that varies over time.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • An academic degree in, for example, political science, law, engineering, or economics, or equivalent university credits in a relevant field. Or other education combined with work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • Several years of work experience working with digital work tools, such as case handling and diary systems or similar, and a good habit of continuously learning new systems and ways of working.
  • Several years of experience in case handling at a government agency.
  • Good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish.

It is also an asset if you have:

  • Work experience with digital infrastructure.
  • Work experience with state aid issues or procurement-like procedures.
  • Good system understanding, e.g., experience of working as a super user.

The position is a special fixed-term employment (SÄVA) for 12 months. We are looking for two case handlers. Location in Stockholm with start as soon as possible by agreement. Your job title will be Case Handler.
