We are currently looking for a substitute preschool teacher for Solkullen Preschool.

Your Responsibilities

Together with the other educators at the preschool, you will develop, drive, and implement the preschool's mandate based on our governing documents and with our vision in mind. As a preschool teacher, you have unique opportunities to influence children's development and learning. The role includes planning, follow-up, and documentation of work. You will work with a smaller group of children in need of special support. An important task is also to create inspiring and challenging learning environments at the preschool.

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for the preschool's pedagogical content and work to promote each child's development and learning. It is your responsibility to build good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

In Västervik Municipality, we strive for an equitable preschool across the entire municipality. We work to develop systematic quality work using pedagogical documentation and exploratory working methods as tools.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with a preschool teacher degree. If you have previous experience working pedagogically with children in need of special support, we consider this a merit.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have a good ability to collaborate, be receptive, and easily put yourself in other people's perspectives. You need to be secure in yourself, stable, and have good self-insight.

It is important in this role that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children acquire knowledge and about different preconditions for learning. It is also important that you can take initiative and start activities within the operation.

Other Information

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record register before employment.
