Workplace: Ljungnässkolan
Ljungnässkolan is a school for grades F-6 with approximately 320 students. About 50 employees work at the school, including teachers, lead teachers, special educators/special teachers, a counselor, and a school nurse. The school has two parallel classes for F-6 as well as after-school care units and is currently undergoing exciting development work. The school and the after-school care center collaborate closely regarding both students and facilities. Our working methods provide security and continuity for our students and strong cohesion within the staff groups.
Ljungnässkolan is a VI-school (University School). This means we host students from the teacher education programs for grades F-3, 4-6, and after-school care teachers from Linnaeus University in Kalmar.

Responsibilities
At Ljungnässkolan, we work in teams, and you will collaborate with various teacher categories. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and developing the pedagogical work for students in both the after-school care and the school.
Collaboration between the school, after-school care, and parents is important to us. Our mission is to jointly address students' needs and work based on them. As an after-school care teacher, you will work with children of various ages, from 6-year-olds meeting the school world for the first time to 12-year-olds approaching upper secondary school age.
The position may also involve some work at Mölstadskolan, as both schools are planned to merge into a single F-6 school in the future.

Qualifications
- You are a licensed teacher with a specialization in after-school care, or an after-school care pedagogue, preferably with a focus on music, art, home and consumer studies, or physical education and health.
- You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the curriculum's goals into your work.
- You are a present and co-researching pedagogue who challenges and stimulates students to develop.
- You find it easy to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- You have a strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development.
- You recognize the importance of everyone in the team being involved and working as a unit. To develop learning among students, you reflect together with your colleagues on your own and the team's pedagogical approach.
- You are a secure and flexible leader with previous experience of responsibility in after-school care.
- You have a genuine interest in creating a secure environment and possess a holistic view of learning during both school hours and after-school care time.
