The Department of Education and Child Care in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all pedagogical activities, from preschool to university, and is also responsible for Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) and social orientation for newly arrived immigrants. RESPONSIBILITIES

• We are seeking a primary school teacher for grades 4-6 with qualifications in Swedish, Mathematics, and Social Studies.
• As a class teacher, the position includes responsibility as class leader, and you are responsible for planning, conducting, and assessing teaching in the subjects you teach.
• You are responsible for creating a positive and creative learning environment that leads to an increase in students' desire to learn and knowledge development.
• You work in a way where values and security permeate the entire school day, and you ensure that every student is met with the support they need.
• You view collaboration and dialogue with students, parents, and colleagues as a natural part of the safety work.
• You are part of a grade team and a work team, where continuous collegial work takes place to develop the quality of teaching and to meet students' needs in the best possible way.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed primary school teacher with the qualification to teach in grades 4-6. You have a well-thought-out view of knowledge and students. Your ability to collaborate is good, and you plan, conduct, and evaluate activities together with your colleagues. Reflection on learning is a matter of course for you, and you are happy to share with others in collegial learning. You are flexible and have good pedagogical insight. Furthermore, you are structured and have clear leadership in the classroom.

Quality in teaching is a prerequisite for good goal achievement. You see this as a matter of course and therefore ensure that your teaching is goal-oriented, challenging, and characterized by both content and methodological variation. You have high assessment competence. To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you are a secure and stable leader who finds it easy to create good and trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
