The Department of Children and Education in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to university, and is also responsible for Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) and social orientation for newly arrived immigrants. RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher in wood and metal craft, you are responsible, together with your colleagues in craft, for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work at your workplace regarding the subject of craft. You are well-versed in the national curriculum for compulsory school and experienced in working with current goals and quality standards within the school system. You serve as a good role model, adhering to the norms and values set out in the curriculum, and contribute to fulfilling the school's mission with high quality. Your task is to promote every student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, parents, and colleagues to feel comfortable and safe in the school environment.
Craft instruction in wood and metal covers students from grades 3 to 6, including students from the local school as well as students from Rumskulla and Djursdala schools. All teaching takes place at Södra Vi school, where all teachers also have the responsibility of supervising recess.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a certified teacher with authorization to teach craft in grades F-6. Experience working within the compulsory school system is considered an asset.
