About Ljungnäskolan
Ljungnäskolan is a school for grades F-6 with approximately 320 students. About 50 employees work at the school. The school has teachers, lead teachers, special educators/specialist teachers, a school counselor, and a school nurse. The school has two parallel classes for grades F-6 as well as after-school care units and is currently undergoing exciting change work. The school and the after-school care unit collaborate on both students and facilities. Our working method provides security and continuity for our students and strong cohesion within the staff groups.
Ljungnäskolan is a VI-school. This means that we accept students from the teacher education programs for grades F-3, 4-6, and after-school care teachers from Linnaeus University in Kalmar.

Job Responsibilities
Are you an engaged and knowledgeable specialist teacher who wants to make a difference? We are looking for a driven specialist teacher in mathematics for our Student Health Team (EHT) at Ljungnäskolan.
As a specialist teacher with us, you will work in close collaboration with students, teachers, parents, and the student health team to create an accessible learning environment for all students. You will work with special support, adapt teaching, and develop strategies. At the school, we work in teams and in a cross-professional manner.
The school's student health team consists of the principal, deputy principal, special educator, specialist teacher, school counselor, and school nurse.
You will work as a specialist teacher, primarily in mathematics for grades F-6. The position may also involve teaching in the school's special education group.
You will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching for students in need of special support, as well as map and analyze students' strengths and challenges to design appropriate measures. You will have close collaboration with colleagues to develop work regarding leadership and stimulation, accessible learning environments, and extra adaptations. You view a good relationship with parents and other external actors as important. You are a good role model, are attentive, see opportunities and solutions. You work relationally, are flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You participate in the student health team and contribute to the school's development work. The position may also involve some work at Mölstadsskolan, as both schools are planned to become a joint F-6 school in the long run.

Qualifications
