Who am I?
I am a young woman with a disability who uses personal assistance in my daily life. I am now looking for you to work as a temporary substitute in my team during the spring and for a few weeks in the summer.

As my assistant, you will help me with personal care, transfers, meals, and accompany me to various leisure activities. I have both physical and cognitive difficulties, as well as epilepsy. I do not use spoken language, so I use alternative communication. This is something you will learn together with me and my team.

I lead an active and social life and enjoy spending time with friends, listening to music, watching movies, playing games, cycling, exercising at Friskis & Svettis, or finding other fun activities. I live centrally in Trollhättan, making it easy to get to me.

Here is what a day with me might look like:
You help me with morning routines and prepare me for the day. Afterwards, we go to my Day Activity Center, where you assist me with the tasks I need support with. During certain parts of the day, you will work together with a colleague as I have double assistance. Later, we might take a nice walk in the sun (hopefully!) and find something else fun to do.

Who are you?
I am looking for someone who is secure and attentive. You do not need previous experience with alternative communication – the most important thing is that you are curious and willing to learn. Experience working as a personal assistant is an asset but not a requirement. The most important thing is that we get along well and that you function well in the team.

About the position:
This is an hourly position where you are booked for shifts on a monthly basis, sometimes with short notice. You choose which shifts you have the opportunity to take. The work includes extra jobs this spring and summer. If interested, there is also the possibility of continued employment after the summer.

The position starts immediately.
