Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to persons who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You safeguard the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is responsive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Willing to work for a 33-year-old man residing in Norrby

• Have good knowledge of Swedish

• Are non-smoking

• Have good physical fitness and can perform transfers in the work

• Have a driver's license and access to a car

It is also an asset if you:

• Have experience of personal assistance or similar work

• Have experience with a cough machine (ventilator)

• Share the client's interests, which include 50s cars and ice hockey, with the favorite team Djurgården

• Are used to working awake at night

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts". The position covers approximately 48% and refers to active night shifts.

Working hours follow a rolling 4-week schedule with both weekday and weekend shifts. You will work a total of 6 nights per month according to the following example:

Week 1: Off

Week 2: Wednesday 20:00–09:00

Week 3: Thursday 20:00–09:00 and Friday 20:00–09:00

Week 4: Friday 20:00–09:00, Saturday 20:00–09:00, and Sunday 20:00–09:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits according to collective agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID and any documents that prove the right to work within Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
