Unit Description
Do you want a meaningful job where you contribute every day to enabling the user to live as independent and active a life as possible? We are looking for 2 personal assistants for a 37-year-old man with a spinal cord injury.

Personal assistance within the disability area works to provide support in daily life to people with disabilities. Here, our personal assistants work independently with the user but always with the support of managers and colleagues.

Here you will become part of a unit characterized by a forward-looking attitude and a constant strive to develop in a positive direction. Our work is characterized by respect, openness, pride, and commitment, and a common strive to create the best possible conditions for people with disabilities.

About the Job
Your work as a personal assistant includes providing support in personal care and daily chores at home. As a personal assistant, you have the opportunity to get to know a person and together make every day meaningful and unique.

The interaction with the user is central to your work, and communication is your primary tool.

You work alone with the user, but you will meet others in your work group regularly to discuss and develop the operations together.

The user lives with his mother and brother in an apartment in Visättra.

We are looking for assistants for two positions at approx. 73%, the shifts are on a rolling schedule, daytime 9-17, duty every other weekend.

Your Profile
We are looking for you who have previously worked as a personal assistant and have at least upper secondary education, preferably with a supplementary nursing education. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

It is important that you have a professional approach, which means that you provide good treatment and have knowledge of and understanding of the user's needs, conditions, and wishes.

No day is like another, so you need to be adaptable and flexible.

Since communication and documentation are important parts of your work, you must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
