Personal assistance is a service according to the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to persons who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You safeguard the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to a smooth daily routine.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. Our client lives with her partner in an apartment in Upplands Väsby. She has a strong interest in fashion, film, photography, and crafts. She also enjoys traveling and going out. The workplace may vary depending on the events the client participates in. We are looking for someone who is active, enjoys a dynamic environment, and likes flexible work. You are reliable, punctual, and have a service mindset.

We are currently looking for someone who:

• wants to work with a 29-year-old woman residing in Upplands Väsby

• has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the client is an influencer and you will become an important part of daily life by supporting reading, writing, and communication

• can tolerate cigarette smoke, as the client smokes

• can tolerate pets (dogs)

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience of similar work

• have experience communicating using Bliss or similar methods

• share the client's interests

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment grade, and salary:

The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying working hours during the day, evening (08:00-18:30), and night shifts 18:30-08:00 (with five hours of on-call duty). There is also the possibility of summer work.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are provided according to collective agreements.

Start date: Immediate or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present valid ID and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
