Your Responsibilities

In the role of Interim CEO, you have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and driving the business according to owner directives. You will operate in an environment with many stakeholders and a strong focus on quality and long-term thinking.

• Overall management of the company
• Financial control, budgeting, and investment work

Worth Knowing

The assignment is full-time, 40 hours per week, located in the northern Stockholm area. Work is primarily on-site, with some possibility for remote work. Working hours are during the day, with some evening hours in connection with board meetings and other meetings. Start is as soon as possible or by agreement. The assignment is expected to last approximately 6 to 12 months.

Our Expectations

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in real estate, economics, or equivalent documented experience, as well as post-secondary education from a university or college in real estate economics, economics, or civil engineering. You have at least 10 years of documented experience as a manager with personnel and budget responsibility within the real estate industry or a related field.

You have previously worked in a politically governed organization and have experience as a CEO or Interim CEO within a municipal real estate company. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and good digital competence with documented experience of advanced work in Excel and the Office suite.

You have good knowledge of Swedish labor law and workplace legislation and are available for on-site assignments according to the specified scope and can start the assignment immediately after signing the contract.

Furthermore, you have documented experience of change and development work in complex environments, as well as experience of contact with banks, investors, and financing of real estate projects.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of and experience with energy efficiency in the real estate industry, experience working with maintenance plans and long-term property ownership, as well as experience leading both operationally and strategically with responsibility for operations and development. Good knowledge of municipal decision-making processes and board work, as well as experience from a rapidly growing municipality or region, is also an advantage.

As a person, you are secure and strategic with a good ability to lead in change and build trust in complex organizations.
