Your Role
We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader for a consulting assignment as interim manager for a management unit at a larger public sector organization within the real estate field. In this role, you will have a central function where you lead managers and administrators with a focus on ensuring high quality in operations, maintenance, and service to tenants. You will work both strategically and operationally with business development and become an important part of the organization's management team, responsible for driving development towards long-term sustainable results.
Your Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of administrators and group managers (approximately 140 employees within the unit).
Drive systematic improvement work, planning, and follow-up within operations, maintenance, finance, and work environment.
Ensure compliance with property owner responsibilities, legal requirements, and regulatory demands.
Be responsible for financial management, budget follow-up, and maintenance planning.
Follow up on contracts and projects and be responsible for quality assurance and safety work.
Contribute to the organization's strategic development and actively participate in the management team's work.
Act as a client for contracts and maintenance projects and drive processes related to sustainability and safety in residential areas.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
Relevant higher education in real estate, engineering, or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of documented experience in managerial roles within property management.
Good knowledge of property economics, construction technology, rental and property law.
Experience in goal management, maintenance planning, and project management.
Documented experience in strategic management and change leadership in a management team.
Experience in social sustainability, tenant dialogue, and safety issues.
Knowledge of relevant laws, standards, and regulations in the field.
Knowledge in contract law, public procurement, and negotiation.
Driver's license B.
Very good Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
Meritorious Experiences
Leadership training or documented experience in leadership development.
Experience working in complex organizations with strong societal benefit.
Experience leading cultural and organizational changes in larger operations.
Location
The assignment is based in the Stockholm area with regular presence at several operational sites in the region.
Timeline and Scope
Start: December 1, 2025 Scope: 100% Duration: Initial assignment for 6 months with the possibility of extension (3 months).
