We are currently preparing an exciting consulting assignment where you, as a Data Engineer, will have the opportunity to take a holistic approach to an organization's data landscape. The assignment is fundamentally about ensuring the right data reaches the right people at the right time – and that the infrastructure behind it is robust, scalable, and well-documented.

You will work at the intersection of technology and business: building and refining data pipelines, creating decision support through visualization, and being the person the team turns to when things get technically complex. This is perfect for you if you enjoy owning the big picture rather than just delivering individual components.

Location: Stockholm (hybrid, 2–3 days on-site per week) Start: Immediate Scope: Full-time

What you will do in practice

• Build, operate, and fine-tune a Snowflake-based data warehouse
• Create and further develop reports and dashboards in Power BI that the business actually uses
• Design and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT methods
• Ensure data quality and compliance with GDPR and internal guidelines
• Keep documentation up to date – data models, flows, and report logic
• Act as the bridge between the IT department and the business side
• Mentor and support colleagues on technical questions

Your Profile

You have a strong technical foundation and are used to working hands-on with data across the entire chain – from source to finished report. We would like you to have experience with:

• Snowflake – you have actively worked with the platform, not just touched it
• Power BI – you build thoughtful reports and understand the data model behind them
• SQL – your strongest tool in the toolbox
• Python – for automation, transformation, or analysis
• ETL/ELT tools – preferably dbt, but other relevant experience works too

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and are the type who takes initiative, drives forward, and does not wait to be told what to do.

Bonus points if you also have:

• Experience with agile working methods and DevOps thinking in the data domain
• Practical experience with data modeling and performance optimization in data warehouses
