Job Description - The Role of Student Resource

As a student resource at Lärande Primary School South, you create the conditions for meaningful learning. To create security and give all students equal opportunities, we work conceptually according to a common model within Lärande primary schools. We call it the Learning Model, and it is based on an interdisciplinary holistic thinking with the student at the center. The Learning Model is based on value-creating learning and close collaboration in our teams to give our students meaningful learning and prepare them for the constantly changing needs of the future. The model forms the basis for you and your colleagues in your joint mission.

As a student resource, you will follow the students in their development – both socially and academically. You work in teams with your colleagues, and your care, presence, and curiosity create the security and development that the students need. During the school day, you work in collaboration with teachers to stimulate students' learning and to create continuity throughout the day.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work with an individual student in need of extra support. The student needs your help to manage daily tasks in teaching, as well as support in social situations during school hours. During leisure time, you work together with the leisure center staff and are active in the planning/teaching planned for the leisure center.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who feels secure in the role of student resource and in the meeting with the students and their guardians.

To be considered for the assignment, we require:

• Experience of working with students in need of support within the school
• You can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required for good communication with internal and external parties

It is a merit if you have:

• Knowledge and experience regarding NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders)

You have a belief in every student's will and ability to succeed, and you constantly try to find ways to develop your approach so that you provide the best possible conditions. As a person, you are secure in yourself and can take your own initiatives to find solutions. You have good pedagogical insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents. You find different ways to use digital resources in your work together with the students.
