About the role Yrkesgymnasiet Linköping is primarily seeking a qualified and licensed vocational teacher for the Hotel and Tourism Program. We also welcome applicants with at least five years of work experience in the hotel and tourism industry. Here, students learn a profession from the ground up in real workplaces with experienced supervisors. Therefore, we are looking for a vocational teacher who wants to be a key person in creating quality internship opportunities for our students. The role involves coordinating, quality-assuring, and developing APL in close collaboration with the school's staff, students, and external partners.

Your responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and follow up on education related to subjects in the program

• Find and establish contacts with companies and organizations for APL placements

• Ensure quality and follow-up of internship placements

• Maintain ongoing dialogue with supervisors, students, and guardians

• Contribute to the development of routines and processes for APL

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified and licensed vocational teacher or has at least five years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.

• Has a good ability to create and maintain networks

• Is structured, solution-oriented, and communicative

• Enjoys working both independently and in teams

• Has an interest in education and collaboration with the labor market

Qualifications:

• Qualified and licensed vocational teacher

• At least five years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry

• Experience in coordination, networking, or similar tasks

• Good organizational skills

• Good knowledge of vocational training
