Operations

The primary school/specialized primary school is part of the Education Administration. The operation includes 21 primary schools as well as a specialized primary school, with a total of approximately 4500 students. Four of the primary schools are secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school care.

Marieberg School is a school for everyone as it accommodates from preschool class to grade 9 along with a specialized primary school. Marieberg School is where students, parents, and staff experience safety, trust, and community. The goal of the operation is for everyone to succeed based on their conditions, and the foundation for this is a positive school climate, staff engagement, and pedagogical skill. The school is characterized by a very good cohesion, a warm climate, and dedicated teachers where we support each other and help each other to reach as far as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a special teacher, you are responsible for the special educational work and the work around students in need of special support. The role of the special teacher in mathematics means that you are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the operation around the specific students and student groups you work with.

You will collaborate with the school's teachers regarding individual students' needs for adjustments. You will also collaborate closely with the school's two special educators and be an active part of the school's student health team.

Together with school management, lead teachers, and the student health team, you will also be an important cog in the school's systematic quality work for increased goal achievement.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a special teacher's degree with a focus on mathematics F-6. You have experience in pedagogical work, and if you have worked with support measures for students in need of special support, we see it as a positive, especially in mathematics.

You have good digital competence and use computers and technical aids (ICT) as a natural tool in your teaching to strengthen students' learning and development.

You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

In your work, you are self-driven and structured, while also having a good ability to be flexible based on students' different needs and conditions. You actively work to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to develop as far as possible.

Through a relationship-building approach, you collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians to promote students' knowledge development. You value differences and adapt teaching and support measures so that each student has the best possible conditions for success.
