About the organization

The primary school/adapted primary school is part of the Education Administration. The organization includes 21 primary schools and an adapted primary school, with a total of approximately 4500 students. Four of the primary schools are secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The organization also includes after-school care.

About Marieberg School

Marieberg School is a school for everyone, as it accommodates everything from preschool to grade 9, along with an adapted primary school. At Marieberg School, students, parents, and staff experience safety, trust, and community. The goal of the organization is for everyone to succeed based on their circumstances, and the foundation for this is a positive school climate, staff engagement, and pedagogical skill. The school is characterized by a very good cohesion, a warm climate, and dedicated teachers who support each other and help one another to ensure that everyone reaches their full potential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in after-school care, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching based on the curriculum. Through the teaching in after-school care, you work to stimulate students' development and offer a meaningful leisure time. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' development through varied working methods based on their individual circumstances. In teaching, you make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities, encouraging creativity and curiosity, and making it clear to each student that they can succeed in both big and small ways.

You work based on proven experience and research and strive to ensure that students receive the best possible development, both academically and socially. You carefully document students' performance and development. You maintain contact and collaborate with guardians and other actors outside the school and inform guardians about students' development. Through systematic quality work, you work to ensure that set goals are achieved. Together with your work team, you develop the school's mission and continuously promote collegial learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed teacher with qualifications for teaching in after-school care.
• has good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• preferably has experience in educational activities.

As a person, you are good at organizing and planning your work and are well acquainted with the curriculum and governing documents for after-school care. You take active initiatives in social contexts and find it easy to create and maintain relationships, and you have the ability to meet all children based on their needs. Willingness to collaborate, patience, and a dose of humor help us develop together.
