Operations

The primary school/specialized primary school operations are part of the Education Administration. The operations include 21 primary schools and a specialized primary school, with a total of approximately 4500 students. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operations also include after-school care.

Fornåsa and Klockrike schools together form a unit. They are both small rural schools, and together we have 190 students. They are conveniently located within commuting distance from both Motala and Linköping on the beautiful Östgötaslätten, with nice schoolyards far from the city's noise. At our schools, we have high ambitions and collaborate to maintain high quality. Together is our guiding principle!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special educator at Fornåsa and Klockrike schools, you will be an important part of our student health team. Together with the principal, you will lead and participate in the student health team's joint meetings.

You have overall responsibility for:

• Planning, driving, and implementing support work at the individual, group, and organizational levels.
• Mapping students' needs, conducting educational investigations, and establishing action plans.
• Working systematically for improved goal fulfillment through, among other things, guidance of teachers in planning, implementation, and follow-up of students' knowledge development.
• Conducting observations with accompanying feedback and actively supporting student work in the classroom.
• Working together with other parts of the student health team to continuously develop and improve the school's student health work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for someone who has a teaching license and a special education degree or a special teacher degree. You have experience working as a special educator or special teacher. You have good subject knowledge and are pedagogically skilled. You have good IT skills and can naturally use digital tools in your practice.

• You have a good ability to collaborate and see the importance of driving the school's development together with other colleagues.
• You are structured, organized, and flexible. You dare to take your own initiatives when facing new challenges.
• You have the ability to lead colleagues individually and in groups with a focus on students' development and goal fulfillment.
• You have a good ability to create good and trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
