Teacher in Wood and Metal Craft for Värgårdsskolan 7-9 and Horns School, Kinda Municipality

The position is a combination of teaching at Värgårdsskolan (80%) and Horns School (20%). It may also involve teaching grade 3 students who come to Värgårdsskolan and have craft classes a couple of times a week. Värgårdsskolan 7-9 is Kinda Municipality's only secondary school and is located in Kisa, where the main employment will be. Horns School is a K-6 school located at the southernmost part of Kinda Municipality.

At Värgårdsskolan 7-9, students from all over the municipality meet in a suitably sized school, where safety, well-being, and a good working environment provide the right conditions to focus on the school's educational mission. Värgårdsskolan is a school where learning and personal development are at the center. We work to make our learning environments accessible to students and strive for teaching to be characterized by curiosity, optimism for the future, structure, clarity, and safety. When students leave our school, we want them to have good knowledge and self-confidence to succeed in further studies and work.

Responsibilities

To teach students in wood and metal craft. You are well-versed in the curriculum and course plans and want to contribute to the development of Värgårdsskolan. The position includes mentorship for a class.

Qualifications/Education

Relevant teacher education and teaching certification. You work with the students' best interests in focus. We place great value on good collaboration skills and a positive attitude.
