Your Responsibilities
As a PE teacher at Rosendalsskolan, you will be an important part of our work to give every student the best possible sense of future optimism. We are looking for someone who wants to create varied and challenging teaching that inspires our students from grades 1-6. In your role as a Physical Education and Health teacher, you are responsible for:
- Working based on the curriculum with a focus on planning, teaching, evaluation, and values-based work.
- Teaching Physical Education and Health to students in grades 1–6. This includes actively collaborating with local associations to build bridges between the school and an active leisure time for students.
- Creating varied and challenging teaching based on the current student group.
- Using digital tools as a natural part of the pedagogical activities.
- Ensuring the student's entire school day through collaboration with colleagues, guardians, and after-school care.
- Working both independently and together with others to achieve higher goal fulfillment.
- Promoting collegial learning through reflection and discussion in everyday life.
- Utilizing knowledge from different professions to develop both your own role and the organization.

Rosendalsskolan is a school with approximately 270 students in grades F-6. The Ideal Candidate
First and foremost, we are looking for someone who holds a teaching license with qualification to teach Physical Education and Health for grades 1-6. Secondly, we are looking for someone with a completed teacher education for Physical Education and Health for grades 1-6. Alternatively, you are in the final stages of your teacher education for Physical Education and Health for grades 1-6. It is an asset if you have qualifications in additional subjects based on the organization's needs. It is also an asset if you are a certified swimming instructor.
It is a requirement that you have experience working in a curriculum-guided school through internships or as an employee. It is an asset if you have taught in grades 1-6 for at least one school year. It is also an asset if you have experience grading students or documenting student learning during the school year.
In your role as a teacher for grades 1-6, you have good knowledge of the school's mission and are well acquainted with the curriculum (Lgr22) and other regulatory documents. You have good communication skills in speech and writing in the Swedish language. This is because, according to the curriculum (Lgr22), you must organize and carry out work so that the student receives support in their language and communication development. You are responsible for ensuring that every student can use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way.
As a teacher for grades 1-6, you are a good role model. You have the ability to adapt your teaching to the students and let them participate in shaping the teaching. In a quality-conscious manner, you create good conditions for the student's development and learning and document it. You collaborate well with colleagues, guardians, and other contacts in society that occur in your professional role.
