Job Responsibilities
As a social worker at the Children and Youth Unit, you will have an exciting and meaningful role where you can make a difference for children and young people. You will work with preliminary assessments, investigations, support, and follow-up of interventions for children, young people, and parents. We work according to BBIC (Children's Needs in the Center), a unified system for social child welfare. We also work according to the Signs of Safety approach, which is based on a perspective where the family is the expert on their own situation.
The goal of our work is to help parents manage their relationships and parental role better. Ultimately, the goal is for the children and young people in the families to thrive. We strive to provide support to families at an early stage and, as far as possible, in their own homes. To achieve this goal, we collaborate with other resources, such as authorities and organizations.
