ABOUT THE POSITION

Bättre Assistans is part of Inre Kraft, and we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant on an hourly basis as needed for our client in Luleå. We are seeking 3 extra hourly substitutes to strengthen our existing staff during illness and other absences. There is also a possibility for a permanent position of approximately 50% with this client.

Working hours vary between day, evening, and night, including weekends.

Examples of working hours include:

  • 07:00 - 18:00

  • 18:00 - 07:00

Start date is by agreement, and we prefer that you can begin your introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is in their 30s and enjoys being active through various activities, watching movies, walking, and listening to music. Our client needs your help as an assistant in their daily life as they have autism.

Duties include:

  • Support with daily routines, including household chores

  • Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

  • Guidance and support in daily life

The client uses communication aids.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

To thrive with our client, you should be confident, a good team player who works well with colleagues. You should be communicative and have the ability to adapt your activity level to the client; sometimes the work involves long periods of quiet, quickly switching to activities requiring supervision. You should have a good ability to read other people and enjoy preventive work. We also require basic cooking skills, as home-cooked meals are important to the client.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language

  • Non-smoker

ASSETS

  • Experience and knowledge of working with autism

  • Ability to tolerate chlorine and be able to swim

Employment Level: Hourly substitute as needed

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Bättre Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use it in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment is that you can present a valid ID document and/or submit a personal certificate (personbevis) and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning the register check will cover both the criminal register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing times may vary, so order in good time.
