ABOUT THE POSITION
We at Inre Kraft are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant in a permanent part-time position with our client who lives within walking distance from central Luleå. You will work weekdays and every other weekend.
The working hours are as follows:
08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
The start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you start the introduction immediately.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is an 85-year-old man who lives with his wife. He has an active lifestyle and enjoys dining out, going for coffee, and watching sports on TV. He also enjoys long walks and likes to strengthen his body through exercise, where he receives encouragement and support from both you as an assistant and our physiotherapist. After suffering a stroke, he is partially paralyzed on one side of his body and has aphasia.
The tasks include:
General household chores
Assistance with manual transfers
Help with personal hygiene, dressing, and undressing
Exercise
The client uses a shower chair, electric wheelchair, manual wheelchair, and catheter.

In your work with our client, you will spend a lot of time outdoors on walks and be involved in exercise. Therefore, we would like you to enjoy walking and be encouraging and supportive during training sessions.
As a personal assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our client in his daily life, and your commitment will contribute to him being able to continue living as independently and actively as possible.
We are looking for someone who is empathetic, flexible, and has a genuine desire to provide the highest possible support to improve the client's quality of life.

REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience as a personal assistant or in a similar field
Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with stroke or aphasia
Employment rate: 1 permanent part-time position
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations according to collective agreements.

You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you will be working with children and young people under 18 years old, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the background check will include both an extract from the criminal record and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing times may vary, so ordering should be done in good time.
