JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a therapist, you will be part of a team of 12 therapists, including social workers, social pedagogues, sociologists, treatment pedagogues, occupational therapists, and alcohol and drug therapists.

As a family therapist, you will carry out supportive, change, and treatment work with children and adolescents (0-18 years) and their parents based on assignments from investigating social workers.

The goal is to increase protective factors and reduce risk factors. We use evidence-based methods and proven experience.

The content of the treatment work is individually tailored based on the child's/youth's/family's needs and is shaped together with the children, youth, and their parents based on the assignment.

Practical support in the home environment is part of the job responsibilities, as well as support for children and adults affected by violence in close relationships. The work also includes networking and collaboration with the family's private and professional network.

The work is performed both independently and together with other therapists and will, if necessary, be performed outside of office hours. Rotation within the entire operation may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social worker, social pedagogue, or has equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent. It is an advantage if you have good knowledge of and experience in supportive and therapeutic work, experience from working with mental health issues, norm-breaking behavior, school problems, and neuropsychiatric disabilities, work with violence in close relationships, and integration. Being trained in relevant treatment and assessment models is also beneficial.

We see that you have a good ability to express yourself and communicate in speech and writing. In your role, you need to have good collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently and in a structured manner. The work also requires flexibility and the ability to handle unforeseen situations. As a person, you are calm, stable, and trustworthy with the ability to create and maintain good relationships. Attention to detail in handling and a good approach with the aim of strengthening the individual's own abilities are also important qualities. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
