ABOUT THE POSITION

Bättre Assistans is part of Inre Kraft and is looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Sunderbyn. We are looking for someone who wants to work as an hourly part-time employee immediately + work on a temporary basis during the summer! To be considered for the position as an hourly part-time employee, you must be able to work to some extent during the summer.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends as follows:

  • 09:00-15:00

  • 15:00-21:00

  • Occasional shifts may be scheduled 09:00-21:00 or 21:00-09:00

Start date is by agreement.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a man in his mid-30s who enjoys physical activity; he likes bowling, playing games, and walking, among other things. Our client needs your help as an assistant in his daily life as he has autism.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Support with daily routines, such as household chores

  • Assisting/helping with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

  • Communication and interpreting the surrounding world

REQUIREMENTS

  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language

ASSETS

  • Experience with autism

  • Experience with low-arousal approach (low-affective interaction)

Employment level: Hourly part-time as needed, also able to work parts of the summer

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Bättre Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A personal certificate can be easily downloaded from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are going to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to show an extract from the criminal register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply which mean that the register check covers both an extract from the criminal register and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing time may vary, so the order should be made well in advance.
