ABOUT THE POSITION

At Inre Kraft, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Öjebyn. We are currently looking for hourly substitutes.

With our client, you will work on weekdays and weekends according to the following times:

• 12:00-20:00 Mon-Thu + Sat-Sun

• 12:00-16:30 Fri

Start date is by agreement, and we prefer that you can begin the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a happy and lively four-year-old boy who loves being outdoors - whether it's playing in the forest or exploring playgrounds. And sometimes relaxing with his iPad. He has cerebral palsy and epilepsy and therefore needs help and support in all aspects. He lives with his family in Öjebyn, where both a dog and a cat are part of their lives.

During the day, he goes to preschool, and when the preschool day is over, you as an assistant take over by being a secure, playful, and engaged part of his afternoon and evening. Together you exercise, eat, play, and come up with fun activities both indoors and outdoors, all in a warm and thoughtful environment where joy and curiosity are given space.

Tasks include:

• Support with daily routines, such as occasional household chores

• Help with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals

• Exercise and activation

• Medication, tube feeding

The client uses a wheelchair, shower chair, feeding tube, and oxygen monitoring at night. Communication aids will also be used shortly.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who is positive and still has a child's heart! You need to be comfortable with/enjoy playing with the client. You should be patient and have the ability to handle stressful situations that may arise. It is a great advantage if you enjoy being outdoors, walking, and playing in the forest and playgrounds.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, spoken and written

• Tolerate furry animals; a dog and a cat live in the home

• You must be non-smoking; the client cannot tolerate smoke

• Be able to swim and tolerate chlorinated water

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working as a personal assistant or other care experience

• Care education or equivalent

• Experience with cerebral palsy and/or epilepsy

Employment Level: 1-2 hourly substitutes as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

A personal certificate can be easily downloaded from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18 years of age, you are required to present an extract from the criminal register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply which mean that the register check includes both an extract from the criminal register and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing time may vary, so the order should be made well in advance.
