ABOUT THE POSITION

Bättre Assistans is part of Inre Kraft and we are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant on a permanent contract at 50% for our client in Luleå. You will work on weekdays and one weekend per month.

The working hours are as follows:

  • 09:00-20:00

  • 09:00-15:00

Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer that you can begin the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a young man in his early 20s living in his own apartment in Örnäset, Luleå. He has autism and needs support in his daily life to create structure, security, and meaningful activities. He enjoys going for walks and participating in daily small activities, such as taking the bus to Storheden for coffee.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Support with daily routines

  • Household chores such as cleaning and cooking

  • Assistance with personal hygiene and care

  • Planning and carrying out daily activities

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language

Employment level: 1 permanent position at 50%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Bättre Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID document and/or submit a personal certificate and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are going to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both an extract from the criminal register and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so orders should be made in good time.

We recommend that you ensure you have current extracts in accordance with current legislation and the new rules that come into force on March 1, 2026.
