ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our male client outside Boden. As a personal assistant for our client, you will work in a safe environment where collaboration is key.

  • Scope: Permanent employment at 74%

  • Working hours: Day shifts 08:00-08:00 (sleeping duty between 00:00-07:00)

  • Team: You will always work together with a colleague

  • Start date: By agreement (introduction can start immediately)

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a man in his 40s with autism and intellectual disability (ID). He lives just outside Boden and needs your support to create a meaningful everyday life.

He is a person who appreciates:

  • Playfulness: Activities that happen on his terms

  • Relaxation: Massage on his back and arms

  • Joy of food: Meals are one of the highlights of the day

YOUR TASKS

Your focus is to be the client's extended arms and legs, which means among other things:

  • Support with daily routines, such as household chores

  • Assistance with personal care

  • Management of self-care medications

  • Planning and implementation of activities

We are looking for someone who is stable, responsible, and has a solution-focused mindset. Since the client has a great need for control and participation, it is important that you are attentive and can adapt your support according to his daily condition.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Driver's license and access to a car (required to get to and from the workplace)

  • Non-smoker

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A big heart and genuine commitment to other people

  • Experience with autism and ID

  • Knowledge of low-arousal approaches

  • Previous experience as a personal assistant

Employment rate: Permanent employment at 74%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.

If you are going to work with children and young people under 18 years, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the background check will include both an extract from the criminal record and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing times may vary, so orders should be made in good time.
