Job Responsibilities

You provide practical support and guide the residents to create participation in their daily lives. The goal is to, based on the individual's needs and resources, support and enable a good quality of life. The work includes planning, documenting, and following up on measures together with the individual and your colleagues. You participate in workplace meetings and method meetings and are responsible for establishing and working according to the residents' implementation plans. We work with various methods such as clear communication pedagogy and low-arousal approach (LAB).

Qualifications

You have completed upper secondary education, such as the Health and Social Care program or the Child and Leisure program, or another pedagogical education that the employer considers equivalent. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of documentation, experience working with the target group, and experience with clear communication pedagogy and low-arousal approach (LAB). Working with people with various disabilities requires good competence based on personal suitability, collaboration, maturity, flexibility, and work experience.

It is important that you:

• can utilize and strengthen the individual's resources with a pedagogical approach
• are initiative-taking, flexible, and have good collaboration skills
• want to contribute to developing the organization
• are secure and professional in your role as a Residential Support Worker

Employment type: Permanent, full-time

Working hours: Day/evening and weekends according to schedule

Start date: By agreement
