The Folkuniversitetet Study Association conducts adult education and popular education throughout Sweden. Our mission is to provide people with the prerequisites for a richer life through knowledge and creativity. Knowledge changes lives.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching, preparation, planning, and follow-up. Participate in development work as agreed.
- Quality assurance by reviewing expectations prior to the course and evaluations after the course concludes.
- Communication with participants between lessons regarding course content, such as preparations or homework.
Qualifications:
Circle leaders at Folkuniversitetet must, upon appointment, have:
- Pedagogical experience.
- Subject matter expertise or relevant work experience in the field.
- Experience with and an active interest in adult education pedagogy (preferred).
- Basic IT skills.
Desirable personal qualities include the willingness and ability to work both independently and in a group, good social skills, initiative, a positive attitude towards change and development, and an ethical approach.
Folkuniversitetet in Nyköping offers open courses in various subjects. We continuously work to develop our course offerings and are looking to contact you if you can work with adult education in a circle format, a few hours per week in the evenings, teaching Qigong at a beginner level for the upcoming spring course start.
